HENNA is a Boston-based progressive rock trio. Known for burning guitar work and exciting grooves, the band was formed
in 2004 by veteran guitarist Henrik Lindqvist. He met fellow members, bassist Alfredo Grado and drummer Alex Schaetzing while
working as a session musician and live performer on the East Coast music scene.
“We
ran into each other all the time at recording sessions” Henrik elaborates. “one night, we started jamming in the
studio after the session was done. The producer came out of the control room and said” You guys sound fantastic. You
should cut an album”. That’s how the idea for HENNA got started. But we didn’t get the chance to start until
a few years later.”
Despite still being a relatitively
new act, the members have collectively several decades of experience.
